Baseball Game Info

So, we officially have reservations for the RoughRiders game on Saturday, June 20th at 7:00! Yay! Sorry about all the date changes. I'm going to pick up the tickets this week and bring them to class this Sunday. If you'll be in class, I can give you your tickets then. If not, I'll leave them in an envelope in our classroom for you to pick up at your convenience unless you tell me otherwise. The tickets were $15/each, so you can bring me either cash or a check to class or to the game. Just let me know if you have any questions. It should be a fun night! :)

Children's Ministry needs your help

Hi all....Just wanted to pass the word along that the Children's Minstry needs your help this summer.

Elementary needs teachers and shepherds, mostly at 9:45. Preschool needs 1 teacher for 3's at 8:30, 3 teachers for 3's at 9:45, and 1 teacher for 4's at 8:30.

Please consider serving, maybe outside of a class mission or on a team. What a fun and easy way to give back to God!

Missions Update

Hi everyone. This is the last week of the "Supplies for the Troops" mission this month. I'll deliver whatever we were able to collect to Taci, sometime next week.

I'm still working on June's mission, part of it will be donating goods to either the Allen and/or Plano Animal Shelter, as well as another one. No other details yet.

As advance notice, the September Mission is going to be a class participation in the Hero's for Children 5K fun run/walk to benefit families of those dealing with young children with cancer. Julie and I have done this event many times in the past and it's always a family friendly, good time for all. So start getting in shape now! We might try to organize a brunch/breakfast after.
