We had a nice big class today and repeat visitors Jamey & Doug. Next week Wayne will be leading a discussion on the topic of Humility as part of our relationship series. Everyone have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Happy 9th Anniversary to Jason and Erica on October 28.

Joys & Concerns:
A very happy joy this week, the Lincolns had their ultrasound last Friday and are expecting a baby girl. She is healthy and doing great, the best of news.

Jason Lax has a family friend, Taylor, a nine year old girl with ongoing medical issues. She is having recurring brain tumors that will lead to her losing her eye sight and hearing. Please keep Taylor and her family in your prayers as they continue to deal with these medical challenges.

Missions:
Victor has selected a family for us to assist during the Thanksgiving holiday and he will be sending out more info on that in the weeks to come.

Social:
The Dinners for Six list is posted, hopefully everyone will be able to get together with their group over the next couple of weeks. If anyone needs a babysitter let me know and we will get you set up with someone from class.

Happy Fall Y'all,
Julie

This morning Brett led an interesting discussion on Forgiveness and how to become a more forgiving person. Next Sunday we will doing a chapter from Seeing Gray. We enjoyed some great fall weather, fellowship, and fried chicken this afternoon at the picnic. A quiet week this week no birthdays or anniversaries or even joys & concerns. I would say it is a joy to have no concerns. :) Have a wonderful week.

Check-In System Volunteers Needed

Thought I'd pass this along in case any of you feel you can help in this area....thanks!

Check-In System Moves to Nursery/Preschool Areas

Greetings!

Most of you are aware we have successfully rolled out the check-in system to the Elementary area. In November, we plan on expanding to nursery/preschool. We need volunteers to help families check-in at the kiosks to be located by Room 227 (Infant room) and in the breezeway. We need assistance during the Sunday School transition times of 8:15 - 8:35 am and especially 9:15-9:50 am.

It’s a fun, easy way to volunteer in Children’s Ministries!! All you have to do is greet families, help them understand how to scan their cards, use their nametags and address any questions. We will be having a very short “training session” for all volunteers on a Sunday morning to familiarize you with the system so you know what to expect.

We can’t do this without you!!! Please consider sharing your gifts and serving in this way.

Please contact me by October 14th if you can help.

Blessings,
