Missions Update

1) Can food drive ends this Sunday. Cans can be donated in FH and cash donations can be placed in the Offertory plate in service too with Food Drive in memo line.

2) Jack Gibson is home now but apparently not too mobile and self sufficient yet. The church is putting together a list of people to help with meals and such. Maybe we can get in on that?

Spiritual Gifts Sunday

We will kick off week 2 of spiritual gifts this Sunday. Just a reminder to try and have your spiritual gifts inventory done if you can before class. You're results are yours to share or keep private, but we will be able to get more out of our discussion if you have a better idea of where you are coming from.

If you were not able to make it to week 1, send Jason an email and I will forward you over the spiritual gifts inventory for you to take when you get some time.

Also, we talked about having breakfast for all of lent and this study and forgot to get a sign-up sheet going. Is anyone able to help in that regard this week?

Missions Update

1) The food drive is still going on in Fellowship Hall. Cans can be placed in the containers by the doughnut tables. If you drop anything off, please remember to place a blank post it note in the collection bucket of our class so I can keep the tally. I didn't find any last week.

2) In Fellowship Hall you will also see a used cell phone drive as well.

3) I am not delivering the items for the clothing drive unitl 4/1 so there is still time if you have anything. Place them under the table in the room and I'll pick them up there. Thanks to everyone who has particitpated so far.

4) Mission Blitz is in April. I was thinking this year we'd get back to Amigo's Day's on April 24. If we get a large enough interest, I'd like to form a group, to stay in Plano to Baby sit for any of those couples who would like to both go. Need some help and input on this one though. Please email me.

Girls Night/Guys Night Info

Here are the people I have who have RSVP'd for girls night so far:

Lesley
Janessa
Erica
Sherrye
Ashlea
Virginia
Martha
Amy

And for guys night:

Michael W.
Jason Lax
Dan
Lane

For the girls, let's plan on meeting up at Studio Movie Grill. It's located at 4721 W. Park in Plano. "He's Just Not That Into You" is playing at 7:10 Friday night. Let's meet in the lobby at 6:30 so we have time to buy our tickets and get seats together. If you're not able to get there by 6:30, just let me know so I can pick up a ticket for you. There's a Starbucks close by that we can go to afterwards for anyone up for it too!

For the guys... it's kind of up in the air, but Chad had an idea about going to Main Event for bowling, laser tag, etc. Main Event is located at 3941 Central Expwy in Plano. We were thinking it might be less crowded earlier, so guys could meet up there at 5:00 Saturday and then go to dinner in the area afterwards. (Chad won't be able to make it after all due to another commitment, so you guys can stick to that plan or come up with something else if you'd rather!)

Please RSVP in the comments section if you'll be able to join us! Looking forward to this weekend! :)
