Meet the Burketts

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to send out a post about one of our new couples Sarah & Nick Burkett. If you haven't already met hopefully you will soon.

A little about Sarah & Nick:
We moved to Dallas in 2007 and joined Custer Road UMC, September 2007. We have been married for 6 years and have one daughter, Claire, 22 months. We both grew up in Tyler, Texas and were "high school sweethearts." We attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2002. Nick has a finance background and is a CPA for Alvarez and Marsal, a consulting firm in Dallas. My background is in health education where I was a Child Life Specialist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, before we moved to Dallas. In September of 2007, I joined the staff of Custer Road in Children's Ministries and moved into coordinating the Adult Studies this past May. Nick enjoys playing golf in his free time. I am a member of the Junior League of Plano and a Wishgranter volunteer through Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas. We have 2 dogs, Molly and Baxter.
