August 8/30

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Hello to September this week, hopefully some fall weather will be headed our way soon. Next Sunday Michael will be starting us out on the Paid in Full curriculum.

The pastoral care committee is going to be visiting the Woods Monday night around 8pm. Anyone is welcome to join us, just let me know and we can make arrangements.

-----Happy Birthday to Andrew, he is turning four on August 31st------

Joys & Concerns:
Please keep in your prayers this week

Erica & Erin's grandmother will be moving to an assisted living facility in Arizona. We hope she has safe travels and a smooth transition to her new home.

Lori Dusek will be having a couple of medical procedures in the upcoming weeks and her husband is continuing to look for work. Please keep the Dusek family in your thoughts as they deal with these challenges.

Angie's grandmother who deals with ongoing lung disease has been hospitalized after some complications from a routine procedure. She is improving and will hopefully be home soon.

A group of Custer Road highschoolers will be starting the Journey 2011 program. This is an intensive study of the bible from cover to cover. Jason Lincoln will be assisting with this program. We wish them luck with their studies.

Missions:
Next Sunday is the last day for the coloring book collection. You can bring stuff to class or to our house next Sunday if you attend the social.

Social:
Ice Cream Social next Sunday September 6th @ 2pm. We hope to see everyone here.

Have a great week,
Julie
