Spoke with the Rodriguez's this a.m. and they have graciously volunteered to host the ENTIRE event at their house. Same date, more details to follow.

Progressive Dinner

Christmas Progressive Dinner - December 1st

Find below listed what we have so far in terms of volunteers to host/bring food. If you are not hosting, please reply in the comments which needed area you are willing to help with food. Though we are trying to keep the dinner in the Plano area, we are one house short. As of now, the Rushings will host that course, but if anyone in the Plano area would like to volunteer, please feel free! (Hosts listed in blue)

Appetizers (5:30-6:30)

If your name is not listed above, please RSVP in the comments listing what you would like to bring. Each soup/salad/bread house will coordinate with their food helpers as to what they will be having. Soup is a vague way of saying "something easy from a crock pot." Don't create too much work for yourself, keep it simple, and remember how much we will be eating at appetizers and dessert!

Addresses and groups will be sent later in an email, as I don't want to put people's addresses on the website.

Dinners for Six

Our Dinners for Six will begin this fall! Listed below are the groups which will dine together the first round. If it goes well, we can mix people up and try again after Christmas.

Here's the plan:

1. The couple with the * will coordinate the group's planning efforts.

2. Find a time before Thanksgiving when your group can get together with or without children to eat a meal at a restaurant or at someone's home.

October Social: Big Orange Pumpkin Farm!

When: Saturday, October 27 at 10am

Where: The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, TX

Cost: $7 per person, kids under 2 are free

Includes: Hay ride, feed for animals, and a hot dog. Drinks and snacks are sold separately. Pumpkins are sold individually by size.

September Social

Girls' Night Out will be Friday, September 28 and Guys' Night Out will be Saturday, September 29.

The girls will be going to Sal’s Pizza Restaurant at The Shops at Legacy. Reservations are for Friday 28th at 7:00 pm. Sherrye will let everyone know a time/place to meet beforehand around 5:00 or 5:30 so that we can walk around and shop or chat or whatever before dinner. After dinner we can all go to Starbucks or listen to a band if there is one playing.

The guys will be.....being guys. Plans to come soon.
