Weekly Update

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. The whirlyball social on Saturday was a lot fun despite the fact that the red team totally stomped all over the yellow team. Today in class we started the first week of Extraordinary Women of the Bible. Chad led an interesting discussion about Eve. We will be talking about women of the bible until September 21st when the stewardship study begins.

Upcoming things to note:

Next Sunday we will be having the pre-open house bake off. Bring your best cinnamon roll, bread, or biscuit and the best of each will win a spot at the open house September 14th.

We have decided to have our next class brunch Sunday September 7th.

Happy Birthday to the Garcia boys Bryson turns 3 on August 20th and Caleb has the big 1st birthday on August 22nd

Please keep in your thoughts this week:
Dan's sister in law, Jennifer, is pregnant and had some issues with kidney stones.
The Garcias are trying to find the right daycare for the boys.
The teachers are heading back to school tomorrow to begin the new school year.

Big 2B1 news:
We have two new couples joining our class, Sarah & Nick and Amy & Phillip. Both couples have officially decided to call Two Become One home. We welcome you and look forward to getting to know you all better.

And our other exciting news is that Sarah & Jarod are expecting twins. The babies are due next year around Feb/March. Congratulations guys we are happy for you both.
